Who is Custom Cordage?

Custom  Cordage is a rope manufacturer of American (very special) double braid rope used to make the best dock lines, mooring pendants, anchor lines, tow lines and any other double braid line you need for your boat.  In addition to keeping Americans working on rope that meets or exceeds the Cordage institutes standards for high performance rope, they professionally hand splice, whip and sew their eyes making the most dependable and attractive products we have ever seen.  They make stock sizes and are happy to make custom sizes and colors too.  I have never had a complaint about any of their products and have provided them to the Navy and the Coast Guard.  Treat yourself to the best and check us out.   Any questions, email john@mastermarinelines.net or call (862) 268 1366.  We list stock sizes on our site and love work in custom sizes, custom configurations and custom colors.  No one beats our price and shipping is free in the lower 48 States.

Dock lines for your homeport

What kind of rope should you use for the dock lines where you usually keep your boat?
We recommend the best 3 strand nylon dock lines you can find.   This is especially true if you dock your boat in tidal waters. Nylon is very strong and the 3 strand construction allows the rope to stretch as needed as the water level changes.  If  you keep these lines clean and check them for chafing regularly, you will find they serve well and long.  Use chafe guard if you find any areas where the line frays and you'll get even more wear out of them.  Cheap nylon lines are out there and premium nylon lines are out there.  By the best you can find and they will last better and longer, probably costing you less in the long run and possibly saving you from damaging your boat.  Check us out at #mastermarinelines.net and let us know what you think about this article and our site.
Thanks, John

I would like to take a moment to thank everyone who has purchased from us, just visited our website or possibly learned some practical information from us.  The coming season can be hectic and the spirit of the season is easily lost.  So rather than start early holiday pressure, I would like to remind you to enjoy the season as much as possible.
