New England Ropes (vs) Custom Cordage
Do you like top quality double braid nylon rope for your dock lines, anchor lines, fender lines and so on. You probably know we only sell American marine rope. You probably know most of what we sell is made by New England ropes or Custom Cordage. You probably know New England Ropes is more expensive than Custom Cordage. So what's the difference and why do we sell both?

Custom Cordage is the rope I use on my boat. They, much like Master Marine Lines are a small family owned business that prides itself on selling only the best. They craft their rope in Maine and the rope they manufacture and sell is every bit as good as New England Ropes. The price of their products is less because they spend no research money. They simply make the best money can buy.
Granted, they don't make every specialty product that New England Ropes makes, but if you need dock lines, anchor lines, fender lines, towing lines and you need custom work, they do top notch work in house.
